MUSIC FOR DANCE
INFECTIOUS. A dance-theatre piece choreographed and conceptualised by Naima Mazic. Infectious is a contagious and pulsating space for conversation: the rhythmic language of the sextet of jazz musicians, house and contemporary dancers operates like a secret system that can be decrypted by visitors and listeners.

A MONTEVERDI PROJECT. A dance-theatre piece choreographed and conceptualised by Israeli choreographer Saar Magal. A Monteverdi Project addresses love, eroticism and human relationships, exploring their potential developments in a future shaped by the influence of new technologies, post-humanism and the Anthropocene era. The work was produced during a 3-month engagement in Berlin, Germany; produced by the Staatsoper Unter den Linden.

SAVAGE. A dance piece choreographed and conceptualised by NYC-based choreographer Katherine Maxwell, Savage takes a comparative look at the human experience in urban and wild environments, and examines our expectations of civilized behavior in contemporary culture.

JEPHTA'S DAUGHTER. A dance-theatre piece choreographed and conceptualized by Israeli choreographer Saar Magal, Jephta’s Daughter explores themes of Sacrifice from the Old Testament book of Judges. The work was created during a 3-month engagement in Munich, Germany; produced by the Bayerische Staatsoper. Composed and performed live at Haus Der Kunst by Makespeak and singers Friederike Mauß, Josephine Renelt, Richard Resch, Frederic Jost.
